Accountant (Group)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare all corporate reporting, including Group consolidation and detailed financial analysis on a quarterly basis for management, shareholders and other stakeholders.
- Prepare the annual Group budget and periodic forecasts.
- Lead and manage the Group audit process.
- Prepare Group financial statements in accordance with SFRS(I) and handle ACRA filings.
- Liaise with external parties including group auditors, tax agents, tax authorities, bankers and consultants.
- Act as the data administrator for the Group financial system and drive system enhancements to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement new controls and ensure existing controls, processes, and financial systems comply with Group’s policies and procedures.
- Prepare and/or review management reports, ensuring consistent accounting treatment across all business units to in line with Group policies.
- Perform ad-hoc task as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy with Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting and auditing experience in Real Estate industry, with at least 3 years of hands-on Group consolidation experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards, Corporate Tax and GST.
- Experience as a user or system administrator of Info SunSystems financial system will be an advantage.
- Meticulous, committed, and solutions-oriented professional with a positive attitude.
- Independent and well-organised, with strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines while managing urgent tasks.
- Responsive with good leadership capabilities and strong verbal and written communication skills.
